Wyldecrest Parks sets about making dreams come true

Wyldecrest Parks has picked Dreams Come True as its 2016 Charity of the Year, to celebrate the park operator’s 15th anniversary. The Essex-based business will be supporting Dreams Come True’s cause with numerous fundraising activities.

“We’re so proud and happy to be supporting this charity, especially throughout a year so important to us," explains Alfie Best, chairman of Wyldecrest Parks.

"We would love to raise the bar and fulfil 15 dreams but, at least, we intend to do everything possible to reach as many children as we can. Wyldecrest Parks hopes to have everyone’s support and, personally, I couldn’t be more delighted with this partnership!”

What the charity does

The company’s charity partner works hard to fulfil the dreams of children and young people aged between 2 and 21 years old with serious and life-limiting conditions. Whatever the dream may be, the experience of fulfilling a dream has a profound impact on the children, their families, friends and carers, providing a positive focus among countless hospital appointments and lengthy treatments, creating joyful memories for families to treasure in difficult times.

“Dreams Come True Charity is delighted to be chosen by Wyldecrest Parks as their charity partner for their 15th anniversary year," said Peter Newman, the charity’s chief executive.

"Our work fulfilling the dreams of life-threatened and life-limited children fits so well with Wyldecrest’s ethos of fulfilling the dreams of their customers. We are really looking forward to working with them to raise funds that will make dreams come true for many very special children.”

How you can help

Wyldecrest Parks is appealing for everyone’s contribution throughout the year. If you’d like to make a donation, you can either visit www.wyldecrestparks.com/about-us/dreams-come-true or text WYLD15 plus the amount you wish to donate to 70070 (for example WYLD15£5).

Wyldecrest Parks is also available to help and support local fundraising activities towards this cause: you can contact the company with your ideas/suggestions on [email protected]

About Wyldecrest

Valued at around £200 million, Wyldecrest Parks is one of the largest park home operators in the UK, with 46 residential and holiday mobile home sites spread across England, Scotland and Wales, and it’s owned by the popular Romany Gypsy entrepreneur Alfie Best.

After a successful and prosperous 2015, in which the business registered remarkable growth by acquiring more than 30% of its actual nationwide portfolio, strongly invested on its parks’ development and showed an impressive sales increase, the bar is set high. By the end of the year, Wyldecrest Parks aims to own 53 parks in the country.
