Why this prize caravan is a life-changer

After visiting the same Suffolk holiday park for over 30 years, a Norfolk mum has learned that she has now made her last visit there as a paying guest.

That's because Emma Spagnola from Cromer has been named as the winner of a new £35,000 caravan holiday home on the park in a competition organised by Park Holidays UK.

Lucky Emma beat thousands of other entries to win the keys to the caravan sited at Broadland Sands Holiday Park in Lowestoft.

Emma first began visiting the park with her parents as an 11-year-old. Her grandma later bought a caravan holiday home there, which allowed even more stays.

Today, Emma, her husband Michael and their four children are still regular visitors. In fact, the family had already booked another holiday at the park when the news came through about Emma's win.

Emma’s joy at winning the competition goes far beyond the cash value of the caravan for it will also represent a life-changing experience for the family.

Emma's three-year-old son Mason has been diagnosed with autism, which means, she says, that he craves routine and consistency in his life.

Her new caravan will help bring this about by allowing the family to make regular visits.

More than that, says Emma, Mason has fallen in love with the park's mascot Loopy, and can now look forward to repeated get-togethers with his new pal!
