Sussex Holiday Park to Get £14 million Upgrade

Family holiday-makers stand to benefit from a multi-million-pound upgrade to a holiday park on the Sussex coast, Bunn Leisure announced this week.

The £14 million refurbishment means that caravanners, motorhome owners and families staying in accommodation on the park will enjoy a new entertainment complex and visitor reception within the next two years.

The 300-acre park is on the Manhood Peninsula, West Sussex and employs 350 full-time and 350 seasonal staff. It attracts 100,000 holiday-makers a year. With a turnover of £60 million a year, the investment should increase local employment through contractors and employees.

Managing Director, John Bunn said:

“We begin 2017 investing heavily in our facilities and it shows our ongoing commitment to be an innovative leader in the family holiday sector. “We are using local contractors wherever we can, and are delighted to be able to make such a big investment in our local businesses and support vital local economic growth.”

The touring park is at Selsey on the coast and boasts a mile-long, sandy beach which overlooks the Solent.
