Premier Park scoops 'Beautiful South' award

Sandy Balls Holiday Village in Hampshire, which is a member of the Premier Parks network of top-quality campsites, has won silver in the Beautiful South Awards

Sandy Balls Holiday Village won silver in the Holiday Village/Park of the Year category.

The judges said Sandy Balls won the silver award because the holiday village is "a clean, spacious site and the alpacas are a real wow".

The Beautiful South Awards are organised by Tourism South East and Services for Tourism and aim to shine a spotlight on the whole host of quality and successful hospitality businesses throughout the southeast.

Sandy Balls is operated by Away Resorts, which also scooped another accolade in the awards when its Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park on the Isle of Wight won bronze.

The Premier Parks network is a group of the top 100 indepedent'y assessed and graded campsites in the UK.
