The Camping and Caravanning Club has unveiled an all-new amenities block for its franchise site at Charmouth, Dorset.

Site owner Simon Kewley, says: “The new facility block features a fully compliant disabled washroom, big laundry room, plus a dedicated parent and family room with a baby bath available on request. There are eight showers and eight cubicle wash blocks for both men and women. Alongside all of this, there’s also a new drying facility that is excellent to have and make available to our campers.”

Charmouth boasts 150 touring pitches, including “softstandings” using pea gravel for all-weather use. There is also a summer camping field, with some mains hook-ups. Dorset’s Jurassic coast, including Lyme Regis and Seaton, is just a few miles/ten minutes’ drive off. The site is open until October 28 this year.
