Cornish holiday park facility splashes out with a double gold!

Oasis Fun Pools at Hendra Holiday Park in Newquay, Cornwall, has achieved a Gold award at national level for Holiday Park Pool of the Year and also a Gold award in the Energy Efficiency category at the prestigious UK Pool & Spa Awards.

The Oasis Fun Pools at Hendra provides one of the biggest facilities of its kind in the south west and is open to the public from Easter until the end of October. The venue is also a training centre for lifeguards and, as part of one of Cornwall's premier holiday parks, has also won awards for environmental sustainability.

Hendra Holiday Park, one of 100 top Premier Parks, fought off stiff competition from other companies across the UK in both categories at the awards which took place at the new Resorts World in Birmingham. Over 60 businesses were recognised for their superior products, knowledge and integrity across 25 awards categories earlier this week. Now in their seventh year, the UK Pool & Spa Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of the country’s leading companies and organisations that are involved in the multi-million provision of water leisure, both at home and across a variety of public sectors.
