Cofton Holidays closes site to visitors with immediate effect
Following the Government's latest advice to stay at home wherever possible, Cofton Holidays has now closed its doors to visitors and non-essential staff for the foreseeable future.
The Devon-based holiday park — which is usually open to motorhome and caravan tourers, holiday home and cottage guests, and tent campers — is giving those with existing bookings the opporunity to rebook at a later date when restrictions have been lifted. While those with bookings in the March and April will also have the option to receive a full refund.
Helen Scott, Director of the site, commented: “Our first thought is for our guests and for our staff. Our decision to close the holiday park until further notice has been taken to protect the health and well-being of customers and those with whom we work. As a family business that has been providing holidays for over 40 years it’s a very sad day for us, but safety comes first in the battle against Covid-19. We all have a part to play in turning the tide against this virulent virus.”
