The Caravan Club has changed its name to the Caravan and Motorhome Club to reflect the organisation's modern members. The club represents more than 1 million caravanners, motorhomers and trailer tent owners across the UK.

Grenville Chamberlain, Chairman of the newly renamed club says, "We will focus on developing pioneering new ideas and services which share our expertise, inspire and welcome everyone to the freedom of exploring and enjoying adventures in the great outdoors."

Plans include the upgrading of facilities across its entire site network, including WiFi on every site by the end of the year. There will also be more worldwide travel options.

Harvey Alexander, Director of Marketing, says, "We know that members' outfits, hobbies and interests are becoming more varied, so we will be working hard to reflect, support and highlight those opportunities. Our new Caravan and Motorhome Club logo has been designed as a tribute to our original membership badge, but with intertwined letters to represent both caravan and motorhome members."
