Caravan and Motorhome Club buys new Cornwall site
Carnon Downs Caravan Park near Truro in Cornwall has been acquired by the Caravan and Motorhome Club.
The site has been affiliated with the Club since 2007, but is now owned by it. Now named Carnon Downs Caravan and Motorhome Club Site, it will be open year round and all current bookings will be honoured.
The site has 20 acres of landscaped grounds with 169 pitches (64 of these are full serviced hardstandings, with a further 46 hardstandings). There’s a reception, shop, licensed café, children’s playground, football pitch and dog walking area.
Prices start from £30 per night based on two adults sharing a standard pitch. You can book online for 2021 dates, and 2022 bookings are expected to open soon.
Nick Lomas, Director General of the Club said, “We are delighted to have purchased the Carnon Downs campsite as it’s an excellent site that we know is hugely popular with our members. We would also like to thank Simon Vallance and family for all their hard work building and maintaining this fantastic campsite over the years and we look forward to continuing their success.”
