Caravan and Motorhome Club announces its top Certified Location
The Caravan and Motorhome Club today announced the winner of its 2018 Certificated Location of the Year.
The winner is the Avon Bank Meadow Certificated Location in Worcestershire. The runners-up are Keal Lodge in Lincolnshire and Poole Farm in Cornwall.
The Club's Certificated Locations (CL) are UK sites which have up to five pitches, and they are exclusive to Members. Typically, CLs are in remote places and have beautiful surroundings. They include farms, country estates and spots next to inns. A CL often provides much-needed income to rural businesses.
Caravan and Motorhome Club Members vote for the CL of the Year, a testament to the hard work, dedication and customer service of the owners. Winners and runners-up go to the House of Commons to collect their awards.
The Caravan Magazine team knows Keal Lodge well (it's not far from our offices). The owners manicure the site beautifully, and in one of the most peaceful locations you're likely to find.
The Club presented new awards for 2018, including the Best Newcomer, won by Rodgebrook Farm on the Isle of Wight. And, Woody Kiln Farm, in Pembrokeshire, won the Club's Most Inspiring CL Photograph Award.
Avon Bank Meadow is open all year and encourages visitors to see the surrounding area. It has five fully serviced pitches and is often booked up with repeat visitors.
