Camping club launches tent survey

e06fa850-c208-4411-9bae-cb44abfa6d45

The Camping and Caravanning Club wants to know what kind of tent you own - and what you think of it.

It has launched a survey to find out which models and brands are best in the eyes of campers.

The survey examines buyers’ attitudes to the tents they’ve bought and owned since from January 2012, and will lead to the Club’s first Tent Owner Satisfaction Awards.

The Club says it will gather in-depth information on the best tents on the market today, and build an invaluable resource for anyone researching their next tent as well as providing in-depth information for tent manufacturers, to help them continue to improve their ranges..

The survey runs until 18 October 2015, and the Club will publish the results at an awards ceremony at the start of the 2016 camping season.

Club director generalRobert Louden said: “We’re uniquely positioned to deliver useful information and analysis about how particular types and brands of tent stand up to the test of time, based on our members’ own experiences. It will help campers buy smarter in future, and help tent manufacturers improve the quality and reliability of their products.”

To take part in the survey visit the Club’s website.
