Bedale campsite wins Camping & Caravanning Club award

A small campsite, near Bedale in North Yorkshire has been named as the Camping & Caravanning Club Best CS for 2017. Bedale Camping & Caravanning Park has only recently opened and offers five pitches for motorhomes with five electric hook-ups. 

The site is open all year round and has new spacious shower blocks, hardstanding pitches with electric hook-ups, a dog walking field and a cabin full of information on local attractions and what’s on nearby. The campsite is located in a quiet area on the edge of Bedale, and is well maintained with an excellent access.

Winners in other categories in this year’s awards include: 

Best Hideaway: The Osiers (also winner of Best New CS in 2017), West Sussex
Best Facilities: Castle Camping, Staffordshire
Best Friendly Club Welcome: Riverside Caravan Site, Cambridgeshire 
Best CS for Families: Riverside Caravan Park, Cambridgeshire.
