Highlights For 2020

  • The inflatable range has increased from three models to 20, making 2020 Khyam’s largest-ever range.
  • All the inflatable, Quick Erect and poled products have had a huge facelift, both visually and technically, offering more standard features than ever before.
  • Khyam has added brand-new and unique features to some models that aren’t available anywhere else.
  • 2020 will see the introduction of a new service centre, making sure your tent is always looked after. Whilst most issues that may arise will be covered by a lifetime warranty (covering all aspects of manufacturing faults), you can also book in minor or major repairs to make sure your tents last a lifetime.
  • Although 2019 did not see the summer we wanted, Khyam has planned for a better 2020, installing the most ventilation possible on its products.

Nicholas Roberts, Managing Director, said:

2020 will be Khyam’s biggest ever year. We have been working hard to turn the 2020 camping market on its head by offering what nobody else can. Our product range has not just increased in models, but the features and quality has also increased.

Our 2020 plan isn’t just to provide tents to our customers, but to provide long-lasting memories and adventures with ongoing brand support. We’re offering servicing and lifetime warranties (on everything); we’re the only brand to make sure you’re always covered.

    Specification:
  • Price: £1299.99

Commended in the Best Large Family Tent category of the Camping Editor’s Choice Awards in 2019, the AirTek 8 Pro is the perfect family tent. It offers the ultimate in camping accommodation for up to eight people, although one person can erect this tent on their own. With the patent-pending Precision Pitch system, it isn’t hard to get the perfect pitch every time.

What sets this tent above the rest? The main features include king-size Sleep Easy inners for you to finally get that lie in with the darkened bedrooms/outer-flysheet. The patent-pending panoramic Vista Doors which, when rolled up, fully open the whole side of the living area, a unique feature, ideal for hot summer days and warm evenings.

An optional canopy poles set can be purchased allowing the Vista Doors to be converted to a set of sun canopies. These doors also have a secondary mesh door, making this the most ventilated tent on the market, according to Khyam.

The anti-trip Precision Pitch not only gives the best pitch, but with its quick release/tie-back system, webbing straps can be safely stowed in calm conditions and, as quick as a click, put back in place to safely secure your tent.

New features for 2020 include a new colourway, zipped curtains, inner dividing mesh door, improved quality, reduced trip hazards and a host of new accessories, including the new side fully enclosed toilet porch and front extended canopy.

AirTek 5+

Khyam’s brand-new AirTek 5+ will be turning heads this season. Just like the AirTek 8 Pro, this showcases the very best of innovation, quality and usability, to offer a very ‘big’ small family/weekender tent.

    Specification
  • Price: £749.99
  • Style Inflatable family tunnel tent
  • Sleeps: 6
  • Weight: 23.8kg
  • Height: 230cm
  • Dimensions: 590 x 410cm

The AirTek 5+ will sleep 6, with two large three-man inners, separated by a zipped divide, making this a small tent with a lot of room. Although it will comfortably sleep six, using the sleeping areas as twin queen bedrooms makes an excellent four-man tent that will give other four-berth models on the market a run for their money.

It offers some of the same features as the flagship, including the patent-pending Precision Pitch and king-size Sleep Easy inners. The Precision Pitch is not the only anti-trip feature on this tent, with the front groundsheet folding down flat when the doors are open. Add the sewn-on sun canopy at the front and this makes this tent feel like it was born in nature… it truly helps bring the outdoors in.

Screenhub

Another of Khyam’s sell-out models returns for 2020 with a facelift. The ScreenHub is now probably the most versatile tent/awning/shelter on the market. With Khyam’s unique Quick Erect system, its speed of pitching unrivalled, this could be the tent to end all tents. To give you an idea of just how quick this is to set up, the record (from the bag to pitched) is only 17 seconds!

    Specification
  • Price: £399.99 - £1,099.99
  • Style Modular Quick Erect Tent
  • Sleeps: 0-12
  • Weight 18.8kg
  • Height: 220cm
  • Dimensions: 300 x 300cm

The ScreenHub has so many uses; as a base unit, it comes as a 3m by 3m shelter with four zip-on sides. The four sides can be removed and replaced with four mesh sides or simply have no sides at all. Then when it comes to camping, optional four-berth outer bedroom annexes are available, letting you add up to three bedrooms, so you could have a four, eight or 12-man tent. A clip-in bathtub groundsheet is also available, as well as a zip-on driveaway awning tunnel.
