Advertising feature: UK Holidays Set For Hottest Summer Since Records Began...Maybe

a1331577-3009-4581-94a8-afe4c11863f6
WEATHER forecasters have made a very tentative prediction of glorious UK summer holidays this year and holidaymakers are wishing it true and booking breaks across the UK in anticipation.

Following great May Bank Holiday weather and with many people dissuaded from flying because of the costs and unreliability of travel right now, caravan parks and campsites are already seeing a significant increase in bookings.

More people than ever before are flocking to UK beaches as a cheap alternative to going abroad with all of their home comforts packed up in the boot. UK Holidays mean that a great holiday is only a short drive or train journey away.

Although unfortunate events with volcanoes, plane strikes and economic downturns have all been contributing factors to the recent rediscovery of family holidays in the UK, it has completely reinvigorated the industry which has responded with renovations to improve facilities and amenities even more.

It is almost as if these unfortunate events have caused the rebirth of UK caravan parks, but simultaneously it has also sparked a national trend and new culture of caravanning and camping again. People of all ages are shunning expensive holidays abroad in favour of stress free family holidays in caravan parks, where everything is taken care of from the food and drinks to entertainment, events and facilities such as shopping and washing.

A caravan can provide a home from home near all amenities as well as sights to explore, while camping is the cheapest way possible to enjoy a holiday whilst providing lots of fun too. The growing number of music festivals in the UK has been attributed to the increased interest in camping as it has given it a whole new image with young people.

Now with news of this fantastic weather on the way, even more people look set to flock to holiday caravan parks throughout the UK and explore some of the stunning scenery our country has to offer.

There are a wide range of places to choose from including striking coastline in Scotland; golden sandy beaches in Devon; the beauty of Northumberland; the chocolate box villages near Kent or the plentiful sights and attractions of Blackpool and many more.
The only thing threatening these images of idyllic blue sky summer holidays in the UK is the danger that weather forecasters may have got it wrong...again.

Following miscalculations last year which resulted in rainfall obliterating expectations of perfect barbeque weather all summer, this year forecasters are being a little more reticent in their predictions. The weathermen have stated that the prospects look good and collectively, most are certainly agreed on this so it does look promising.

They have cautiously placed it amongst ‘possibly’ one of the three warmest summers known on record. However, they have warned that it could still be wet with changeable spells throughout the summer holidays, so holidaymakers would be advised to take a brolly as well as their sunglasses – just in case!
