Safe with Haven

f5dd588e-c598-4768-a180-780ebbf9bd49
FOR ALL-ROUND family-fun on amenities-packed sites, operators like Haven are hard to beat. Some folk will find their lavish entertainment a bit too full on, others love it and point to the sheer value for money it offers. From Haven’s 23-strong network, some 14 have facilities to accept tents, sometimes at limited times. More often than not, these are in coastal areas, making it even more important that you book well in advance (sites near beaches are invariably at their most popular during the key summer months).

There’s certainly a choice of destination with Haven – with venues ranging from Wild Duck in Great Yarmouth to Seton Sands on Scotland’s east coast, The Orchards near Clacton-on-Sea in Essex, Yorkshire’s Blue Dolphin and Reighton Sands, and Lincolnshire’s Thorpe Park and Golden Sands. Plus another five throughout the south-west counties of England. And Kiln Park near Tenby in Pembrokeshire.

At the time of writing, early summer booking offers saw pitch prices ranging from £14 to £69 per night, depending on site and length of booking. But, don’t forget that’s with a lot of extra facilities included (again, varying from site to site). Your best bet with large-scale operators like this is to get online and sign up for regular special offers. It can work in your favour.
