Hawkchurch Country Park boasts a tranquil setting surrounded by mature woodland.

The park's location means it is ideally placed to explore the region around Lyme Regis. Here you'll find a historic, unspoiled seaside resort and fishing port. Surrounded by beautiful coastlines and countryside, the area is well-known for fossil finds in the cliffs and beaches and is great for exploration.

The grass, hardstanding and fully serviced pitches and holiday homes are easily reached by illuminated gravel drives with stunning views across the Axe Valley. All pitches at Hawkchurch Country Park include mains connections for electricity and some pitches also include mains connections for water and waste. All the pitches have a parking space for one car and caravans and motorhomes are welcome. Trailer tents and camper vans are also accepted, with the option of pitches with or without electric connections. Adjoining the caravan park are two meadows especially for tents. These are screened by traditional hedgerows and grassy banks. There are also four caravan holiday homes and a lodge available for hire. Two of the units have central heating. Everything is included for your stay you just need to bring your own towels.

All campers have access to the park's facilities. These include free toilets and showers, launderette and well-stocked shop. There is also a licensed bar and restaurant serving home cooked food. To keep the children amused there's an on-site games room and outdoor play area.

Just a short distance away is the small market town of Axminster. The town is nestled on a hill with views overlooking the River Axe. Also close to Hawkchurch is the picturesque town of Lyme Regis which is on the East Devon section of the Jurassic Coast. This truly stunning coastline covers 95 miles. Other local attractions include Forde Abbey, with its 30 acres of award winning gardens and one of East Devon's premier tourist attractions, the Seaton open-top Tramway, with a delightful six mile journey along the stunning River Axe estuary and through local picturesque country villages.

You can also tantalise your taste buds with the excellent local produce on offer in farm shops, farmers markets, restaurants and Devon food trails all nearby Hawkchurch Country Park. Sample matured farmhouse cheeses, freshly caught fish and traditional Devonshire ice cream and clotted cream, alongside a plentiful choice of local wines, cider, fruit juice and ales.
