THE SHAPE OF HOLIDAY CARAVANS TO COME..?

996a1591-2216-4caa-b139-4771a0d4a348

It started life as a one-off concept caravan, a joint venture between Regal Holiday Homes and Shorefield Holiday Parks designed purely to test out some new ideas. But reactions were so positive that Regal have decided to put the Manhattan into production.

Measuring 41ftx14, this futuristic holiday caravan is fitted out like no other holiday home you have ever seen.

Based on a luxury apartment in New York’s most popular precinct, the futuristic new two-bedroom Regal comes complete with a mural of Manhattan which fills one complete wall of the lounge.

The colour scheme here and in the separate kitchen is an in-your-face combination of crimson and cream.

Those colours also feature in the second ‘bedroom’. That has two seats which convert into futon beds and doubles as a games room for users of Playstation and the like.

Features include an occasional table with a rising top; a tv concealed inside an electrically operated cabinet; and a separate tap providing instant hot water for teas and coffees.

The price of a Manhattan sited at one of Shorefield’s parks is £92,995.
