Scadinavian style

AN innovative style of living has been launched in Scarborough with exclusive timber lodge residences built by the Western Log Group.

With superb countryside views towards Olivers Mount, and lying less than two miles from the coast, Rosevale Park has been transformed and will offer 19 luxury three-bedroom lodges for sale as second or retirement homes.

Starting at £150,000, the lodges will be sold with a 99-year lease and come complete with fully fitted kitchens and bathrooms. Fully compliant with building regulations, the high quality insulation and build finish ensures low running costs. Unlike caravans, the timber lodges can be purchased with a mortgage and will increase in value in line with general house market prices.

“The site provides an idyllic location for second or retirement homes and timber lodges are increasing in popularity as investment options,” says Rosevale’s owner, David Sherry.

“We worked closely with Western Log and the lodges are proving of real interest to potential buyers.

“They can be lived in for up to 11 months of the year and we will provide a full maintenance service package to ensure the upkeep of the grounds.

“Rosevale now provides a unique opportunity for property buyers to purchase a luxurious and high quality timber lodge in superb surroundings that can be enjoyed throughout the year with the reassurance that it’s a sound investment decision.”

Based in Port Talbot, South Wales, Western Log Group has been involved in the timber industry for three decades and is now one of the UK’s leading suppliers of timber cabins for personal and business use, as well as having an extensive portfolio in the leisure and play industries.
