Lazy Otter Meadows offers holiday and residential

The vast majority of parks in this country are exclusively for either holiday homes or residential park homes. Lazy Otter Meadows in Stretham near Ely, Cambridgeshire, is unusual in catering for both.
Originally this park was exclusively for tourer and static holiday caravans only. But in 2008 a redevelopment programme started a transformation. Now there are plots for 40 holiday homes and 12 residential park homes.
All of the owners benefit from this park’s location: right on the banks of the Great Ouse river. What’s more the complex includes a marina with nearly four dozen moorings plus a pub, restaurant and private fishing pond.
The residential development (minimum age 50, £125pcm) is now full but there are still six vacant plots available for leisure lodges, all twins. That’s in addition to a 45ftx20 Omar Westfield showhome available for sale at £145,000 and two previously-owned twin-unit holiday homes with prices starting at £125,000.
Lazy Meadows stays open all year round and the annual plot fee is £2,750. Pets are allowed.
