Woodlands Park

6dfa0fd7-1277-4956-94fe-105d3779eeb2
THE Welsh coast features many safe, sandy beaches and out of the way spots that you feel you have found somewhere far from the madding crowd. With picturesque and yet lively harbourside communities, an abundance of wildlife, stunning views and lush countryside on your doorstep, this is prime holiday country. Couple this with a broad variety of activities, numerous country walks and cycling routes, there is plenty to keep you busy. Alternatively, if want to relax you can do so in the luxury of your own comfortable lodge.

Making the most of its position at the heart of this area is Woodlands, situated two miles outside the seaside town of New Quay, famous for its summer spectacle of dolphins swimming in the bay. Bird watchers can go in search of rarities such as the Red Kite and Chough. New Quay was also the town where Dylan Thomas got much of his inspiration for locations and some of the characters for his major work ‘Under Milk Wood’.

Woodlands offers a friendly, peaceful and safe environment with plenty of space for the children to play, woodland walks and a great base for exploring all this area has to offer. The park is committed to catering for walkers and cyclists.

The park is undergoing a multi-million pound development and lodges are available for rent to holidaymakers at reasonable rates for either short breaks or full week stays. Potential owners are encouraged to try before they buy and can stay in a lodge of their choice at different times of the year to get a feel for the lodge lifestyle. Purchasers can have any make and size of lodge built to their specification.

Each of the holiday rental lodges on site features a master en suite double bedroom plus a second bedroom with two singles and a family bathroom. The lounge, dining room and kitchen area is open plan with French doors and large windows to make the most of the light and surroundings. The kitchen area is spacious and well equipped. With many good pubs, cafes and restaurants in the area you might prefer to eat out or you can have groceries or meals delivered. There is a large flat screen TV over the fireplace in the lounge area and a flat screen TV in each of the bedrooms. The radio comes complete with an iPod dock and there is free Wi-Fi connection. Energy efficient electric heating will keep you warm. Outside there is a large, maintenance-free decking area with table, chairs and sun-beds.

Woodlands Park has its own seasonal licensed clubhouse with food available to eat in or out. There is a children’s play area and a laundrette. A combination of good facilities, both in the park and nearby, together with its lovely location makes Woodlands well worth consideration.
