HOLIDAY homes have come a long way over the past 60 years, and since the 1940s Willerby has helped shape their design – evolving the humble caravan into the stylish ‘next generation’ lodges of today.

Throughout its history, Willerby has led the way in terms of innovation, development, attention to detail and customer care, providing outstanding second homes at great prices.

Today, the company offers a wide choice of different models, styles and layouts in award-winning designs. From the two-bedroom Vogue holiday home, with its vaulted ceilings and plush living room area, to the spacious

Aspen model with its floor-to-ceiling canopy windows to give the best possible views, there is a home to suit your tastes and budget.

Indeed, the range just got better with the launch of two new stylish lodges – the New England and the revised and improved New Hampshire.

The New England lodge

New to the Willerby collection is the New England lodge, which makes an ideal holiday home whether you choose to base yourself by the Irish coast or in the middle of the Yorkshire hills.

With a significant increase in dimensions (the lodge is 43ft x 20ft), it has a superb finish and is packed with the latest in designer fixtures and fittings.

Perfect for families, the large open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area, with an adjacent utility room, opens on to spacious sleeping and bathroom accommodation.

With the option of two or three bedrooms, with two en-suite bathrooms and plenty of storage space, this is the ideal second home or holiday let.

Built to a high specification, invest in a New England lodge and you can enjoy the following luxury features as standard):

• An HD-ready 42in plasma TV.

• DVD with 2.1 theatre system.

• CD/DAB tuner with an audio link to speakers in the ceiling.

• Stylish corner group seating with a single chair.

• A modern, fully-fitted kitchen with an oven, grill, microwave, soft-close pan drawers and overhead storage.

• A frost-free American-style fridge/freezer and integrated dishwasher.

• A kitchen breakfast bar, plus a six-seater table in the dining room.

• Whirlpool P-shaped bath, with an overhead shower and silent-fill toilet.

• A 5ft bed in both the master bedroom and second bedroom, with a ‘Dreamsleep’ system, lift-up bed storage and en-suite to the main bedroom.

• Velux windows with full blackout blinds.

• Fitted wardrobes in all bedrooms, with co-ordinating décor throughout.

Fully furnished, decorated and insulated, with central heating, energy efficient K-glass throughout and oak effect PVCu windows (other colour options are available), the lodge is warm and comfortable all year round.

Prices start at just under £110,000 for the two-bedroom model, and rise to under £114,000 for the three-bedroom lodge.

The New Hampshire lodge

With its great looking exterior and stunning interior, the new and improved New Hampshire lodge offers lavish accommodation throughout.

At 40ft x 16ft, the New Hampshire represents a new dimension to holiday home living, incorporating the latest innovative design features and style ideas.

It’s available in two and three-bedroom layouts with a range of optional extras to suit your personal preferences and budget, and a large decking area along two sides will tempt you to lounge, glass of wine in hand, on the decks as soon as you arrive.

Slip into holiday mode in a New Hampshire lodge and you will enjoy the following luxury touches as standard:

• Two settees to help you relax as you admire the views from the full-height lounge windows.

• A wall-mounted stainless steel Lava Scape electric fire.

• A stylish glass-top dining table and four chairs (the three-bedroom lodge has seating for six people).

• DVD player, with cinema surround sound system - ideal for entertaining.
• A fully-fitted kitchen, including a large double LPG gas oven with stainless steel trim, wok burner and hot plate.

• American-style fridge freezer and washer/dryer.

• En-suite shower room and en-suite with bath (the latter is available in the two-bedroom model only).

• Double Divan beds with storage drawers.

• External lighting under the canopy.

• Velux windows with blinds to give a light, airy feel.

With vaulted ceilings, a gas combi boiler central heating system, laminate flooring in the kitchen and bathroom and quality PVCu windows, the lodge is a real home from home.

Optional extras include a choice of exterior colours, a dishwasher in place of a washer/dryer, a different settee and armchair configuration to that included in the standard package, a leather suite, external decking and patio lighting, and a twin or double bed options.

Great value for money, prices for the two-bedroom model start at just under £71,000, rising to just under £73,000 for the three-bedroom lodge.

Quality as standard

Willerby has invested heavily in recent months in order to gear up production to cope with increased demand, and feedback on both of the company’s new lodges has been hugely positive at shows and exhibitions around the UK.

The New England lodge featured on the Homesearch programme on Channel M (a Manchester-based cable/satellite channel), and both it and the New Hampshire model have received good feedback from experts in the trade.

The team at Willerby is constantly striving to update and improve its ranges, and as a result all new lodges now feature the low-maintenance Canexel wood outer wall finish as standard, with genuine timber cladding available to give a traditional lodge look.

All come fully furnished and ready to move in.

Popular throughout the UK and Ireland, and available at some of the latest boutique parks, click on the website – www.willerbyuk.com – for an online guide to each of the lodges, as well as a list of Willerby distributors and park operators across the UK.

The website has the latest information on each of the holiday homes, with a comprehensive photographic guide to the interior and exterior of each one.

The website also has a ‘frequently asked questions’ section where you can find help and advice on everything from choosing a site for your new holiday home to actually getting it there safely and arranging insurance.

You can view a range of Willerby leisure homes on display at the Lawns Trade Show at Cottingham in Hull in September. Phone the sales team for more information.
