Advertising feature – Waveney Valley Lakes, Norfolk

c862ff95-cbe7-4d27-ba6b-61db943776fa
WAVENEY Valley Lakes is a beautiful 60-acre park with 11 lakes, some of which have luxury lodges and caravans scattered around them. The lodges and caravans are all privately owned, and the aim of the owners is to provide a quiet and peaceful environment which can be shared with the wildlife.

Nearly all the lodges and caravans have private fishing from their own gardens, and on some of the lakes, day ticket fishing is available. Those who do not fish can enjoy the lakeside views with waterfowl, owls and kingfishers. The park has its own 2.5km nature trail with interpretation signs along the route.

Built to the highest quality standards, each lodge has a general lounge area with full-length panoramic patio doors which open on to a choice of sun-deck or patio.

In addition, there are spacious kitchens and comfortable bedrooms with en-suite facilities. Features include double-glazing, central heating and patio doors.

The park has a wide range of caravan holiday homes in stock, with models from all leading manufacturers. The caravans are the last word in luxury with a wide choice of specification. Many are winterised, with full insulation, double-glazing and central heating.

There is a well stocked fishing tackle shop on site which also stocks daily provisions such as newspapers, milk, eggs and bread. There is a farm shop within easy walking distance selling a good range of local produce and the café there is very popular with caravan owners.

The local town of Harleston offers a variety of local services and shops, together with an interesting local museum.

There is plenty to do in the local area with Norwich, Ipswich and the beautiful Norfolk Broads all equidistant at about 45 minutes drive away. Beccles is only 15 minutes away, and you will find supermarkets to quaint side streets.

The coast at Southwold, with its historic harbour and beach huts, is less than an hour away from Waveney Valley Lakes.

FOR SALE

At the time of writing there were several lodges for sale with stunning views across the lakes, from £132,000. There are also lakeside plots to take the holiday lodge of your choice
