THE Elms is an award-winning fully residential luxury retirement park homes park licensed all-year round for 339 homes. Situated in Torksey in the heart of rural Lincolnshire, residents of The Elms enjoy the benefit of three lakes (two of which have fountains), ten acres of parkland, natural wildlife and beautiful landscaping, all on the private estate.

In September 2007, Kinvena Homes Ltd was delighted to have achieved the Silver David Bellamy Conservation Award. The company feels that the positive feedback received from all the residents who took part in the process, as well as from the representative of the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust who visited The Elms, makes all their hard work worthwhile.

There is a security barrier at the entrance to the park that controls access on to The Elms, and residents have their own barrier card to allow them to move freely on and off the park.

All of the homes have been built to the same unique high standard by either Country Homes or Homeseeker Homes. The original design of the homes includes an annexed utility/laundry room, private garden and parking space. Many of the larger properties also enjoy a garage. Additional visitor parking is provided on the park.

There is tourer/motorhome storage at The Elms. This designated area is fully tarmaced and each bay is numbered and white lined. This facility also benefits from electricity and a wash-down area.

Private boat moorings are also available at The Elms. This 240-metre facility has recently been refurbished to offer modern floating pontoon moorings, including electricity supply and running water. Boaters have the use of a recently re-built slipway. There is also boaters diesel for sale by the lockside with Elms residents enjoying reduced rates. The Elms enjoys its own private stretch of canal bank, offering peaceful walks together with private fishing.
