THE Elms is an award-winning, fully residential retirement park licensed all year round for 339 lodge-style homes and situated in Torksey in the heart of rural Lincolnshire.

Set in 60 acres, including ten acres of private parkland, it’s the ideal venue for wildlife lovers in search of quiet, tranquil surroundings.

If boating is your thing you can rent a floating pontoon mooring on the park’s own private stretch of the Fossdyke Canal, which is also ideal for walks or fishing.

More passive enjoyment of water is provided by The Elms’ three lakes, two of which have fountains.

Nearby Torksey lies on the River Trent, eight miles south of Gainsborough, and is an ancient village worth exploring.

All Kinvena Homes have been built to a high standard by either Country Homes or Homeseeker.

A new area of the park is now being developed for seven two-bedroom Country Homes models ranging in size from 45ft x 13ft to 46ft x 20ft, with two homes already sited.

Prices start at £70,000, rising to £195,000 for one of the larger, 20ft homes with a garage.

Each property is decorated throughout and fitted with a new kitchen, bathroom, appliances and boiler, plus fitted wardrobes and new carpets and curtains.

Every home has at least one annexed utility/laundry room, plus a private garden and parking space for one car or more (and additional visitor parking is always available).

For extra security there’s a barrier at the entrance to the park and residents have their own card to allow them to move freely on and off.

Unfortunately, no pets are allowed on the park.

The Elms’ friendly staff are always on hand to offer a tour of the park so you can view the places available.

You can see a full list of homes for sale and their specifications on the website: www.kinvena.com
