TIMBER lodges are fast becoming the best way to buy your own home in the Lakes, and High Close Holiday Home Park provides a great setting.

Offering peace and quiet amongst the flora and fauna of Cumbria’s Lake District region, wildlife such as deer, red squirrels, badgers and foxes, as well as rare orchids can all be spotted around the park, which is sandwiched between the Skiddaw mountain range and Bassenthwaite Lake.

Just a short drive from the picturesque Lakeland towns of Keswick and Cockermouth, High Close provides a huge range of activities for the whole family.

The park is open from March 1 through to January 14, allowing customers to take full advantage of their place in the Lakes, and all holiday homes are solely for the enjoyment of their owners, families and friends.

The park’s owners work closely with lodge manufacturers to ensure all the lodges sold on the park can take full advantage of the woodland setting.

The lodges are fully furnished, with an enclosed decking area, and are ready for you to move in and add your personal touch. WiFi internet access is available.

The park is set alongside Park Wood, with more than 100 acres of countryside just waiting to be explored. The Cumbria Way also crosses the top of the park, giving access to a plentiful supply of walks without even starting the car.

High Close Holiday Home Park is one of the Lake  District’s best kept secrets, tucked well away from the main roads in a quiet shady valley, alongside a stream.

The aim at High Close is to manage the park for the mutual benefit of visitors and the environment – and the park has achieved a Gold David Bellamy Conservation Award for the last three years running. Encouraging its customers to recycle, and with minimal lighting around the park, it’s the ideal place to go back to nature and escape the noise and bustle of modern life.
