Advertising feature – Goosewood Lakes Holiday Park, York

e6de9bc6-9cfc-4600-82c6-5a8475e149f1
SET in a glorious location, Goosewood Lakes Holiday Park is home to both sweeping countryside and striking woodland, yet only six miles from the legendary city of York with its world-class attractions, museums and galleries.

The park is the latest addition to the Flower of May Holiday Parks Group Limited. The Atkinson family has owned the company since they diversified into family holidays from farming over 30 years ago. Continued success has enabled them to expand the business over the years, acquiring parks to cater for all their customers’ needs throughout Yorkshire. Their philosophy is to provide excellent parks with superb facilities, set in stunning locations.

The park is being sympathetically re-developed to offer the quality of locations demanded by today’s holiday homeowner. Set around four large landscaped fishing lakes, the new development will offer greater space and privacy than has previously been available, without losing the calm atmosphere of the woodland park.

The re-development will additionally provide the park with a relaxing bar and bistro facility. The new locations will benefit from individual car parking, mains services including piped gas, and extensive landscaping. Once the re-development is complete, Goosewood Lakes will be a park second-to-none, offering that rare combination of high quality without commercialisation.
Whether you are looking for a getaway retreat just for you, or a relaxing meeting place for your family, Goosewood Lakes Holiday Park could be your ideal destination. You will find a wide variety of holiday homes and lodges on display, and our representatives will be on hand to answer your questions and discuss your individual needs.
