DUNE View is a family-run park home site located in the village of Braunton. The park, which covers several acres, is backed by rolling green Devon hills. It has been in our ownership for over 40 years, during which time we have endeavoured to give a high level of service to our residents.

Dune View enjoys views over the Taw and Torridge Estuaries, the historic Great Field, which dates back to the Middle Ages, and the dunes of Saunton Sands, from which we take our name.

The surrounding countryside is peaceful and scenic, and the park is set back from the road and enjoys peace and privacy.

Braunton is a 10-minute walk from the park, and has all the necessary amenities including banks, building societies, chemists, post office, medical centre, dentist, veterinary practice, and other shops catering for everyday needs, yet it still maintains a friendly village atmosphere. There is a bus service from the stop at the park entrance, and a convenience store is also nearby.

Several supermarkets also offer a free bus service to pick up shoppers from the park entrance.

Braunton, which is situated five miles west of Barnstable, is claimed to be the largest village in England. It is home to the nearby Braunton Great Field and Braunton Burrows, the largest sand dune system in the UK.

Braunton Burrows hosts an extraordinarily diverse plant community. Its uniqueness and biodiversity is recognised in its designation as both a National Nature Reserve and as a UNESCO biosphere reserve.

Alongside scientific research programmes, the dunes are used by locals for a range of leisure activities, particularly dog-walking, from three large car parks adjacent to the site.

Saunton, with its three miles of golden sands and championship golf course, lies two miles away. Saunton Sands is backed by impressive sand dunes and cut off to the south by the combined estuaries of the rivers Taw and Torridge. This is a popular beach with surfers and ideal for families. A takeaway shop is open throughout the year, together with the more formal facilities at the Sands Café Bar.
