THE latest mobile home site to be offered by Caravans in the Sun is perfectly situated for those who like to distance themselves a little from paciness of the Costa Del Sol resorts, but still want to be close enough to enjoy the fantastic Mediterranean beaches.

It is located in the sunny southern part of Spain, near to Antequera (pictured above) in the province of Malaga, and will appeal to those with the leisure time available to spend at least some of the year in Spain.

Caravans in the Sun has a full range of mobile homes available – including both pre-owned and brand new statics – within this safe, secure, gated and fully-serviced community. On-site facilities include 24-hour security, swimming pool, bowling green, broadband internet access, telecommunications, satellite TV and bilingual staff.

Excellent local services and shopping are available nearby, and the relaxed and atmospheric local village has a grocery store, butcher, baker, fresh fish market, tapas bars, restaurants and several banks. This typical Andalucian ‘White Village’ is also host to four major annual festivals.

Further afield, the beaches, the city of Malaga and its international airport are just 30 minutes away. Granada airport (45 minutes) is only a little further. In fact, the park is a superb inland paradise for people who want to enjoy country living in Spain while maintaining connections with one of the region’s busy cultural and business capitals.

If you fancy exploring the wonderful surrounding area, there is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and Natural Parks nearby, and activities such as trekking, golf, bowling, swimming, bike riding, horse riding, caving, beachcombing, skiing and sailing are all available within easy reach.

So, whether you are looking to retire to Spain, or simply have the leisure time available to spend a few weeks, or even months of the year in the sun, this park offers a healthy way of life in a friendly environment where you will connect with new people and make new friends who share the same or similar interests.

CARAVANS IN THE SUN
Caravans in the Sun is part of Mobile Homes Abroad, which started when William and Sue Kay were seeking a holiday apartment, but found the potential cost was too high. Instead, on one of their trips they noticed an old caravan in a field and decided that might be an alternative.

Eventually they found a BK Bluebird on a parc in the Vendée region of France – but decided to buy two. The homes were moved to a smaller site nearby and advertised for rent for the summer – the start of a business venture William and Sue called European Vacations.

Since then, with new investors Ian and Jayne Ferguson, the business has expanded and Mobile Homes abroad now offers homes in France, Spain, Portugal, Tenerife, Malta, Morocco, Greece and Florida. It now plans to buy its own parks in Europe, as well.
