Vantage to launch two new campervans

British converter, Vantage Motorhomes, is to launch two new campervans at The Motorhome and Caravan Show 2019 at Birmingham’s NEC in October.

This is the first time the convertor has launched two new models at the same time.

The first of the pair is the new Vantage Rio, which will have four travel seats and three berths. This rear lounge campervan is aimed at those who want to use their vehicle for away-days and short trips with their family. The layout is based on one of Vantage’s most popular motorhomes, the Neo, but has a super king-sized bed (or two singles) plus an additional single bed.

Meanwhile, the second new model, called the Sky, takes Vantage into a new market. It has four travel seats and can sleep five people. It incorporates an electric drop-down double bed, a super king-sized bed or two singles plus a further single bed. It also features a front dinette as well as Vantage’s popular U-shaped rear lounge.

It’s the first campervan in the range to utilise the Fiat’s XLWB High-Top Ducato. The additional height provided by the high top roof means that the double bed is tucked away allowing the campervan to be used as a two or three-berth with the added option of the extra bed when needed.

“A Vantage has always been a motorhome made for two, so it will now open up Vantage ownership to a wider audience,” said the company’s MD, Michael Hardicker. “We will no longer have to disappoint potential customers who want Vantage quality, attention to detail and our renowned customer service, but who need to travel with more than two passengers and require more than a sleeps-two layout.”
