Swift Group reveals its motorhome portfolio for 2020

The Swift Group has unveiled its 2020 portfolio of motorhomes, including the launch of the all-new Swift Edge.

In addition to the Edge, this season’s new Swift motorhomes include the Kon-Tiki Sport, which extends the appeal of the flagship Kon-Tiki range, as well as a revitalised Escape and Escape Compact, and the Select campervan.

The new Edge coachbuilt is aimed at first-time buyers and newcomers to motorhoming and has been primarily designed for families.

The range has five models, offering a choice of two, four and six berths, all of which can be driven on a standard 3,500kg car driving license and each with a high level of standard equipment, including Truma’s dual-fuel blown-air heating and fully equipped kitchen with a Dometic 8-Series fridge and combination thermostatic oven, featuring a three-burner gas hob and grill.

Meanwhile, the washroom has all the essentials, including a vanity unit, sink, toilet and shower.

The soft furnishings have Swift AirWave foam in the seats and backrests, and lightweight memory fibre Duvalay mattresses on the beds.

All have a Euro 6D, 2.3-litre engine and a 100-litre internal fresh water tank, 60-litre waste water tank, and an 80A/hr leisure battery.

Options include a Driver’s Pack, which adds cruise control, passenger airbag, DAB radio and reversing sensors, and a Living Pack, including Status 570 TV aerial, built-in microwave, Winter Pack and more.
