Peterborough motorhome show success — plus new show confirmed!

Warners Shows has been praised by thousands of visitors and the industry after it hosted the first outdoor motorhome show since March.

The Outdoor Motorhome & Campervan Sale took place at the start of August at the East of England Showground in Peterborough, and followed a new format to ensure the safety of visitors and exhibitors.

The extensive exhibition area saw over 20 national and local motorhome and campervan dealers and converters showcasing over 175 new and used models, along with a plethora of accessory stands selling thousands of outdoor leisure products.

The new-style event attracted over 1,000 motorhomers (500 vehicles), who wild camped for the weekend, as well as over 5,500 people who visited the show for the day, which, says the organiser, is evidence of the rising popularity of the motorhome lifestyle.

Working closely with the showground and Public Health England, Warners Shows implemented numerous new initiatives to keep both visitors and exhibitors safe and received great praise on social media from people who visited, stating they enjoyed their time at the event and felt very safe.

Sally Dodds, Head of Events said, “On many levels the show was a great success, but not without its challenges. It’s great to be back, welcoming people to the hobby, and I envisage this to be the model for our events, certainly for the foreseeable future.’’

A third outdoor motorhome event has also just been confirmed by Warners Shows. This new show, the South West Motorhome & Campervan Sale, will take place at the Royal Bath and West Showground in Somerset from September 11-13, 2020. At the show, you'll be able to browse new and used models for sale in the pop-up showroom or stock up on the latest upgrade or gadget for your current motorhome or campervan with the outdoor accessory market.

There will be limited wild camping available on site for the whole weekend (three nights for £40) or you can visit the show for the day for free — simply pre-register for a day ticket here.
