A selection of new campervan models were launched at the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show at the NEC in February.

From WildAx, there’s a second campervan model based on the Ford Transit Custom. The four-berth WildAx Proteus has a classic campervan layout, with a side kitchen and a sliding rear seat that converts into a double bed. There’s a roof bed, fitted as standard. Prices start at £51,675 ex-works.

Bilbo’s unveiled its latest model, which is a long-wheelbase version of the Nexa+ that we first saw as a short-wheelbase derivative back in October 2019.

The Nexa+ has an elevating roof and a rear fitted cassette toilet. A highlight is the generous kitchen worktop and a new lightweight roof bed. On the road prices start at £52,950.

Lowdhams, meanwhile, has added a Toyota Proace model to its Summit campervan range. Built by Wellhouse Leisure, this new campervan is 4.95m long and has a side kitchen layout, elevating roof and two three-point seatbelts. The base vehicle has a high spec, with sat-nav, DAB radio, air-conditioning in the cab, cruise control, twin airbags and more. Prices start from £45,995.

Hillside Leisure has launched a new version of its Cromford campervan, which has a higher-mounted fridge and greater storage. This new Cromford has a choice of three engines – 110, 150 or 199PS – and rear RIB individual travel seats that convert into twin single beds when combined with the cab seats.

Kent-based CMC have announced the availability of its HemBil Escape campervan on three different base vehicles, with a Ford Transit Custom added to the Renault Trafic and Volkswagen Transporter.

The new Ford Escape has a side kitchen, Reimo sliding seat system and five belted seats – though there is the option to add a sixth, in the form of a removable seat. There is also an option to add a roof bed, too.

Prices for the Ford Escape campervan start at £49,950.
