Le Voyageur celebrates 40th year with anniversary models

In 2021, Le Voyageur will celebrate building top-class A-class motorhomes for 40 years.

Suitably, to mark this milestone, the French manufacturer, which has been part of Groupe Pilote since 2000, will offer a set of special anniversary models, all with additional equipment.

Available on all Le Voyageur 7.8 and 8.5 models, these special edition vehicles will carry the 40th anniversary logo externally and embroidered on their upholstery, while customers will receive a gift box containing a leather pouch, bottle cooler, two bath sheets, a bath mat and four velvet cushions.

The LV7.8 range (4,500kg, 7.85m long) includes island bed, twin bed, single bed/end washroom and rear lounge layouts, while the LV8.5 line-up (5,000kg, 8.55m on tag-axle chassis) includes either twin bed or island bed floorplans with L-shaped seating or face-to-face benches.

In other news, a new furniture scheme is offered on the 2021-season Le Voyageurs, called Riviera. This is a darker alternative to the Dune cabinetwork, which Le Voyageur introduced last year.

Meanwhile, in the cab, the carpets are now black and the cab dashboard is covered with imitation leather featuring stitching and an embroidered logo.

Other new details include the inclusion of the new Dometic fridge/freezer, which has a door that can be opened from either side and the introduction of a 210Ah lithium battery pack option (up from 160Ah) for those who wish to spend more time away from electric hook-up.
