Laika provides Honda team with motorhomes for 2019 Dakar rally

Italian motorhome manufacturer, Laika, will provide the Honda Racing Corporation with two motorhomes for the 2019 Dakar rally.

In collaboration with the Spanish dealer Autosuministros, Laika will provide two low-profile motorhomes, an Ecovip 309S and an Ecovip 409, which will accompany the Honda team throughout the race. 

Now in its tenth South American edition, the historic rally race will last from January 6-17, 2019, and will take place entirely in Peru in a ring route with the start and finish in Lima.

The route is divided into 10 stages and will cover 5,000 km, 70% of which will be on sandy soil. It will therefore be extremely important to rely on motorhomes that are not only technically resistant, but also handy to manoeuvre, as well as being comfortable for the team between races.
