Laika launches new motorhome for 55th anniversary

In 1964, Giambattista Moscardini founded Italian motorhome brand, Laika. The company is celebrating this anniversary with the launch of a special edition of its Ecovip 310 model, badged 55th Anniversary.

The new Ecovip model (6.59m long) offers a transverse fixed double bed at the rear, a spacious lounge up front, and washroom and kitchen between the two, as with the standard Ecovip 310. However, this special anniversary model is available at over £7,000 less than the standard Ecovip 310.

You can also order this motorhome with two exclusive packs, at discounted prices. The Comfort Pack, for example, adds £1,900 onto the £53,400 list price of the Ecovip 310 55th Anniversary. However it includes (and uses up 36.9kg of payload):

• Manual cab climate control

• Cruise control, ESP, Traction+, Hill Holder, Hill Descent

• Electric and heated rearview mirrors

• Height adjustable passenger's cab seat

• Preparation for radio with two speakers in cab

• Radio antenna built into back view mirrors

• Carpet for driving cab and small carpet for internal step at entrance door

• Shower duckboard

• Cab blinds 

Then, there's the Dolce Vita Pack which costs £5,500 (a saving of £2,600 on the full retail price of these options). Note that this will use up 68.1kg of payload:
