Indie Campers share International Mother Earth Day Bucket List
To mark the 50th International Mother Earth Day, Indie Campers UK has compiled a list of natural wonders in the UK to visit - when it's safe to travel again.
Since 1970, the International Mother Earth Day has been celebrated every year on April 22. Due to the restrictions surrounding the outbreak of the COVID 19 virus, this year the day is being marked in very different circumstances.
However, evidence also suggests the natural world is currently benefitting from the time to heal and restore its natural state; worldwide travel and movement restrictions have led to lower pollution levels over the past month because of significant reductions in daily traffic, air travel and industrial activity.
For example, clear blue skies have reappeared across some regions in India and China; swans and dolphins have returned to the cleaner waters of the canals in Venice, and monkeys and deer are now roaming deserted streets in Thailand and India.
To maintain this spirit, Indie Campers - one of Europe's largest campervan and motorhome hire companies, which operates in London and Edinburgh - is encouraging aspiring travellers to extend safety measures by discovering the delights of the UK's domestic wonders when restrictions are eventually lifted.
Here are seven natural UK wonders to visit - with campsite suggestions close by:
The Brimham Rocks
A hit for the whole family, the Brimham Rocks, in North Yorkshire, are a series of unique stone sculptures that have been shaped by wind and ice over millions of years.

Cheddar Gorge
This unique limestone formation in Somerset offers awesome views and climbing routes for various levels.
