Enhanced 2021 Benimars arrive at Marquis

Marquis Leisure’s Exeter branch has received the first examples of the updated 2021-season Benimar motorhomes from Spain.

The new models, the Mileo (on Fiat) and Tessoro (on Ford), now share the same graphics as well black/chrome detailing on the grille. The latest Tessoros also get the addition of a double USB socket behind driver’s seat, while Mileos receive two double USBs. A radio isolator switch in the cab is also now fitted on the Mileo, Tessoro and entry-level Primero ranges.

Perhaps the most important addition, however, is the Thatcham Category 7 Trackstar security tracking system that’s now standard on the Tessoro and Mileo.

This month (January), the first of the new season’s Benivan campervans will also be available at Marquis branches. These are built by Auto-Trail in Grimsby, rather than at Benimar’s Peniscola plant.

The 2021 Benivans benefit from a Skyview rooflight over the windscreen and Dometic pleated blinds for the cab windows. Their heating systems have also been changed this year to a Whale gas/electric system mounted underneath the vehicle to free up extra storage space inside.

The Benimar range is available from exclusively from the 13 branches of Marquis around England and the company’s partners in Scotland and Ireland.
