Camper UK teams with actor Shane Richie to promote staycations

Lincoln-based motorhome and campervan dealer, Camper UK, has teamed up with actor Shane Richie to promote the UK's best staycation spots.

Shane, best known for playing Alfie Moon in Eastenders, will be exploring the UK with his family in one of Camper UK's special edition motorhomes. You can follow Shane's travels on Camper UK's social media accounts, and share your own travel snaps with the actor using #MyCamperUK

The campaign, which is being managed by Leisure Marketing Agency Kal Group, aims to encourage the public to explore the UK in a safe way, whilst sharing their own travel photos.

Camper UK's Managing Director, Dean Hyde, said: “Shane is a perfect fit for this promotion, being an avid motorhome enthusiast himself, we are very excited to have him onboard. There’s a lot of uncertainty around going abroad and we want to show how having a motorhome can provide the perfect opportunity for families to still have a holiday whilst maintaining social distancing.

"Shane is a really friendly, bubbly character just like you see on the TV, so we expect lots of laughs along the way. This is exactly what we all need coming out of this pandemic."
