Al-Ko HY4 motorhome suspension system to be distributed by E&P UK

Motorhomers will have wider access to Al-Ko's HY4 suspension system for motorhomes thanks to a new distribution deal between Al-Ko and E&P UK.

E&P UK is already well known for its existing aftermarket suspension system and the company plans to offer the Al-Ko HY4 system to its existing dealers as well as continuing to expand the dealer network for both systems.

Although the two systems carry out the same basic function, they are both quite different in their operation. The E&P system operates from one central pump unit powering four hydraulic jacks linked by lengths of hose, whilst the HY4 system has four independent pump units fitted to the vehicle without the need to run hoses back to a central pump unit.

Outside of personal choice, the motorhome you have can determine which is the best system for you.

E&P’s dealer network will be available to all new and existing HY4 customers to give them access to a dedicated team who will be able to assist them with any questions and problems that they may encounter.

Oliver Drinkwater ,Managing Director of E&P UK, said, “We see this collaboration very much as a positive step in our further development as a company and as such we feel that the HY4 system will only strengthen our brand and allow us to invest further in our dealer network. It is our intention to run the two products alongside each other and not to sway customers from one product to the other but to give them a choice of what we believe to be the best two solutions currently available on the market."

A comprehensive dealer training programme is being rolled out to dealers over the next few months, so customers will be able to order their new motorhomes with the HY4 installed before they take delivery.
