The Out & About Live Campervan Awards 2025

We want to recognise the best of the best, the top campervans your money can buy right now in the UK and so we present the Campervan Awards, the only one of its kind, in association with Campervan magazine, and its sister magazines, MMM and What Motorhome.
The Campervan Awards 2025 will be presented to the very best models for the coming year to help you make the right buying decision for your next new conversion.
The categories:
Best Pop-Top Campervan
We’ll take a look at smaller campervans with a rising roof, based on VW, Renault, Ford and others.
Best New Conversion on a Pre-owned Van
Keeping budget firmly in mind, we assess companies that offer high-quality new conversions on pre-registered vans.
Best Fixed Bed Campervan
Moving up into the full-sized campers, those prioritising a good night’s sleep will be interested in the shortlist and winners for this category.
Best Large Campervan
Full-sized campervans on Ducatos, Sprinters, Crafters, etc, but with a variety of layouts without a fixed bed, so lounging takes priority.
Best Campervan Innovation
They say the best things come in small packages, and that’s certainly true for campervans, so we’re looking for clever features that make the most of the limited space available.
Coolest Campervan
Needing no explanation, we’re hoping this category is hotly contended by some really desirable campervans.
Best Campervan 2025
This is the top award and will go to the campervan that impresses the judges most in every respect.
Campervan Converter of the Year
The only public vote in the awards sees readers, website visitors and customers name their favourite converter of campervans in the UK.

A bit more information from us
Judges
New campervans from across the UK and Europe will be assessed by an expert team using their campervanning experiences (both for holidays and reviewing new models) to create shortlists and decide on the winners.
Heading up the team will be What Motorhome Editor and YouTube star, Peter Vaughan. Peter has been reviewing campervans for 40 years and likes to get away in his own campervan as often as possible with the family. Peter will be joined by MMM Deputy Editor, Rachel Stothert, and Campervan Editor, Iain Duff. Rachel started motorhoming at the age of four and has now been working for the magazines for over 17 years, while Iain has been a camper for most of his life and, like many readers, made the switch from tents to a campervan after lockdown. He took the helm at Campervan magazine in November 2022.
