About Roller Team

Roller Team is a leisure vehicle brand and manufacturer of European motorhomes, based in Tuscany, Italy. As part of the huge Trigano Group, Roller Team’s guiding principle is to manufacture modern, innovative and reliable motorhomes at competitive prices.

Some models are actually built in the UK by Trigano-owned Auto-Trail, but even the British-built Roller Team models benefit from the Italian designers, giving them the same flair and essence as all Roller Team European motorhomes.

Building on Roller Team’s aim to offer comfortable, well-equipped family motorhomes, the company has introduced this new model for 2022. Striking metallic grey cabs matched to a crisp white body and matching metallic grey accent mouldings give this motorhome a sporty look.

Step on board with ease, thanks to a low-set internal step and the Italian origins shine through. Dark wood contrasts with white locker doors and light upholstery schemes, giving it a very spacious feel.

At the back is a U-shaped lounge, while there is also a second lounge at the front. The front seating area has a small side sofa and a forward-facing bench that has seatbelts for two passengers. There is a fixed table in the forward lounge for dining, but a free-standing table allows the rear lounge to act as a dining area, too.

Both lounge areas have a drop-down bed, meaning instantly available beds for all four occupants without having to convert seats. Both beds also have cupboards set underneath, maximising the storage that is necessary for a family motorhome.

The kitchen and washroom are located centrally between the two lounges. The kitchen offers a hob, oven and tall, slim fridge. The all-in-one washroom is opposite, next to the wardrobe. However, a separate shower can be created; the sink is on a swing-wall section that pivots towards the toilet. Plus, the corner storage is accessible whether you are using the basin or the shower.

Gross weight:

At the very top of the Roller Team tree sits the Pegaso A-class models and this model exemplifies the luxury layout, which features an island bed at the rear. At the foot of this island bed, there’s the washroom with a basin on a central unit and the toilet and shower on each side of this.

A door shuts off the rear from the kitchen and living areas, making it a true en suite. There are also doors to shut off the bedroom from the washroom for privacy.

There is a drop-down bed in the cab, meaning this could be used as a true four-berth, too. The L-shaped lounge has travel seats, so all four occupants can travel in safety. If you plan to travel with four on board, then the optional weight upgrade to 3,650kg is a good idea, while bigger engines and an automatic gearbox are also on the options list.

Zefiro Sport

The Zefiro Sport

Price:

from £57,430

Base vehicle:

Ford Transit 130bhp

Layout:

Transverse double bed

Berths:

Travel seats:

The Ford-based Zefiro range has six models, low-profiles and overcabs, with this overcab model offering berths and belts for four. This motorhome is not just aimed at families, though, as it’s been specifically designed for active families with a large storage space underneath the transverse double bed.

Plus, the garage/bed is height adjustable, allowing owners to choose between maximising storage or improving bed access.

The second double bed can be found above the cab with a curtain to provide night-time privacy. The Ford Transit makes an excellent base, offering one of the most car-like driving experiences.

If you want to enhance this further, then you can opt for the 170bhp engine upgrade or even the Ford automatic gearbox, too. Other options include proper blinds for the cab or a curtain and you can have a choice of upholsteries.
