NEW 2020 Elddis Autoquest CV60 campervan

Elddis introduced its campervan models to the world last year, with two rear lounge layouts to choose from. This season there is a third model in the range, the CV60 offering a French bed that can be used as a rear lounge. Sounds intriguing, doesn’t it?

Elddis Autoquest CV60

  • Price from: £38,599
  • Base vehicle: Fiat Ducato Euro 6d
  • Layout: French bed/rear lounge
  • Berths: 2
  • Travel seats: 2
  • Length: 5.99m
  • Gross weight: 3,500kg
  • Payload: 654kg

Based on the Fiat Ducato as standard, the new season engines will be fitted, with a 2.3-litre engine offering 140bhp. However, as with Elddis’ other Fiat-based models you will be able to upgrade to the all-new automatic gearbox with 140bhp or 160bhp engines.

Stepping on board, the cab of this model differs from the other two in the range as the cab seats swivel with a large half-height cupboard forming a coffee table type top for the driver. There is also a pedestal table fitting here, making this a function lounge area on site.

There’s a reason for this and that’s in the rear. What looks like a large tapered sofa actually makes into a French bed (with a simple lift and slide action). This means you can leave the bed down and just use the cab seats to lounge about in, or convert the bed back into a sumptuous lounge (or day bed for one).

The kitchen sits in the middle of the camper, opposite the washroom as per other models in the range, while a unit opposite the French bed acts as the perfect place for a TV.

Standard features include underslung 25-litre LPG tank, 90-litre fresh water tank, 45-litre waste water tank, Whale heating system, Thetford Triplex cooker and a new Dometic Midi Heki. You can also choose from the standard white exterior for this year, or a new dark metallic grey paint.
