Here are the new motorhomes and campervans launched by Hymer for the 2019 season, as seen in 'The Essential Guide to 2019 Motorhomes and Campervans'...

Hymer B-MC I 580 motorhome

  • Price from: £77,070
  • Base vehicle: Mercedes Sprinter
  • Layout: Twin single beds
  • Berths: 4
  • Travel seats: 4
  • Gross weight: 3,500kg
  • Payload: 500kg

New for the 2019 season is the arrival of the ModernComfort range, which is built in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz using the new Mercedes Sprinter coupled to Hymer’s award-winning lightweight SLC chassis. As standard, customers can expect the six-speed manual 143bhp version of Mercedes’ turbo-diesel engine, and many upgrade options are offered, too.

The B-MC I 580 is a stylish, practical and comfortable A-class motorhome that measures 6.99 metres. The layout comprises twin rear single beds, a central washroom and kitchen, and front half-dinette lounge incorporating swivel cab seats. In the modern kitchen, there is an integrated 142-litre Thetford fridge/freezer that sits alongside the galley, which is typical of its type with a three-burner grill and small rectangular basin, both with dark-glass lids. There is also a flip-up worktop extension and three very large soft-close drawers, as well as overhead storage.

Opposite the galley is Hymer’s all-new ‘comfort’ washroom with, as one enters, the large shower with 1.94-metre headroom on the left and the bench toilet, plus an integrated washbasin and side shelf on the right. At the very front of the motorhome is the lounge, which has seating upholstered in a special water-repellent fabric. Thanks to a recess in the rear wall of the washroom, an up-to-32-inch LED TV can be incorporated into the design, giving those in the swivelled cab seats the best view.

To store all of your holiday equipment, there is a huge garage that has a payload of 350kg, which can be optionally increased to 450kg. This has twin exterior access, garage shelving, an external shower, fastening hooks and robust metal flooring.

Hymer ML-T 580 motorhome

  • Price from: £64,630
  • Base vehicle: Mercedes Sprinter
  • Layout: Twin single beds
  • Berths: 2+1
  • Travel seats: 4
  • Gross weight: 3,500 – 4,100kg
  • Payload: 590kg – 1,190kg

The Hymer ML-T range unites the latest drive technology and innovative lightweight construction with optimal comfort in an agile low-profile motorhome. It is the result of a collaboration between two brands in which quality plays an important, if not the most important role.

Every corner of the Hymer motorhome speaks of comfort and convenience: the level living room floor, the large seating area and the standard extending table are just a few examples. Despite weighing 3,500kg, this motorhome gives you complete comfort coupled with excellent manoeuvrability in traffic. It also comes with a comprehensive safety package, and boasts a range of additional features as standard.
