Here are the new motorhomes and campervans launched by Chausson for the 2019 season, as seen in 'The Essential Guide to 2019 Motorhomes and Campervans'...

Chausson Titanium

Chausson Titanium motorhome

  • Price from: £50,700* (*Plus on-the-road charges of £1,850)
  • Base vehicle: Ford Transit automatic
  • Layouts: Island bed/twin beds/front lounge
  • Berths: 3/4
  • Travel seats: 4/5
  • Gross weight: 3,500kg
  • Payload: 478/571kg

Once again, Chausson creates a buzz at the start of the season by launching this outstanding special range, the Titanium. It even features automatic transmission as standard on the much-admired Ford Chassis.

The Titanium range comes in a choice of five different models, including an island bed, twin beds or a front ‘maxi’ lounge layout. It’s available in two generous lengths, too. Choose from 6.99m or 7.19m.

This highly equipped range is immediately noticeable, with its grey polyester (GRP) body, alloy wheels and eye-catching interior décor. Standard equipment is impressive. There’s a powerful 170bhp engine, automatic pack (including automatic transmission, headlights and windshield wipers), electric windshield defrosting, manual cab air-conditioning, driver and passenger airbags, cruise control, reversing camera, luxury entrance door with central locking, and much, much more.

Of course, the Titanium comes with the same benefits as Chausson’s low-profile models. Guaranteed to be watertight for seven years, and with market-leading roof and floor Styrofoam insulation (the first has a thickness of 54.5mm while the latter is 63.5mm). You can also expect a remarkably wide bed, as the island double measures 160cm while the twin singles are each an impressive 90cm wide.

Chausson 711 Welcome Travel Line

Chausson 711 Welcome travel Line motorhome

  • Price from: £53,900* (*Plus on-the-road charges of £1,850)
  • Base vehicle: Fiat Ducato Euro VI
  • Layouts: Rear lounge
  • Berths: 4
  • Travel seats: 4
  • Gross weight: 3,500 - 4,400kg
  • Payload: 454kg

With the 711 Travel Line, Chausson delivers luxurious travel for four with a layout that’s truly unique on the market, with two real cab seats situated behind the driver and passenger seats. When parked up, all four seats swivel around a removable table to create an innovative dining area, too. To the rear, there’s a large U-shaped lounge during the day, while an electric hideaway bed is lowered at night; a second electric bed is stowed up front, above the dining area.

The central part of the motorhome feels spacious and airy due to having habitation doors on both sides, making this perfect for touring, both at home and on the Continent. There’s a large garage, too, measuring H105cm x D48cm, which offers ample room for storing bicycles, etc, while doors at the side and rear provide easy access.

Chausson Twist 697

The Twist 697 offers a large, welcoming rear lounge with the choice of a spacious double bed or large twin bed layout. Thanks to its front bench, the Twist 697 has four travel seats.
