dbbe7736-7bdd-4041-b1d8-6c8566c615db

The Fifth Wheel tourer is light years ahead of traditional caravans and motor homes. This award-winning design is guaranteed to turn heads wherever you go.

The unique coupling system hooks directly onto the bed of a converted 4x4 pick up vehicle and is instantly ready to go. At home and abroad, you can enjoy incredible space and the kind of luxury you insist on at home. It’s also safe, stable and surprisingly easy to tow.

Every Fifth Wheel tourer is designed to order and hand-built to astonishing quality standards at the Fifth Wheel factory in Denbighshire, North Wales. This is the only factory of its kind in the UK. Your exclusive tourer is uniquely designed and built for you. It suits your taste, your lifestyle and your plans to perfection.

The Celtic Rambler is the jewel in the Fifth Wheel crown. Exceptional space and inspired design provide head-turning style and all the home-from-home comforts you could wish for.

Celtic Rambler Living RoomThe sheer space is the first thing you notice. And there’s even more room to discover. The brilliant slide-out concept lets you add an extra three square metres of living space at the flick of an electronic switch.

The beautiful interior of the Celtic Rambler showcases the very best in contemporary design. The stylish living area is ideal for relaxing and entertaining and has an integrated television, a full size sofa and a sofa bed. Underfloor heating throughout is another brilliant idea, plus sleek modern lines throughout and all the easy living and indulgent amenities you could ask for.

Carpets and upholstery come in a wide range of gorgeous colourways and contemporary designs. The same applies to any number of bespoke extras. Fancy a DVD home cinema? Air-conditioning? Solar panels? The choice is yours. Your tourer is a unique expression of your personality and style.

Celtic Rambler Bedroom InteriorA good night’s sleep is not always guaranteed when you’re away from home. Except when you’re in a Fifth Wheel tourer. With the Celtic Rambler, you can rest assured your dreams will be sweet.

Retreat to your beautiful bedroom and enjoy the unequalled comfort of a walk-around king-sized bed. Whenever you’re away, a peaceful night is the perfect end to each day.

Your bedroom is practical as well as eye-catching. Stunning contemporary design includes storage space hand-built by our craftsmen using Victoria walnut wood. A wardrobe, drawers, shelving and overhead space provide ample storage even for long trips.

The Globe Stormer is little sister to the Celtic Rambler. She’s slightly smaller but offers just the same level of luxury. An ideal choice for short breaks and adventure-filled family holidays.

The living area can be extended using our brilliant electronic space-expanding feature. Just switch and slide your way to more space. Now you can seat up to six people in comfort. Everyone feels at home. There are also two sofas that can be converted to beds to provide an extra four sleeping spaces. Clever storage ideas add more practical space and are hand-crafted in fine Italian wood.

Colours and designs are up to you. Take your pick from an irresistible range of contemporary ideas and call on our in-house interior design team for some professional flair.

The GlobeStormer kitchen makes preparing meals a pleasure. The warm tones of Italian wood are offset by stainless steel to give instant eye-appeal. Features include a full size oven, hob and fridge freezer as well as a handy pull-out larder.

Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT IS A FIFTH WHEEL?

The fifth wheel is the name given to the physical coupling between the tourer and the vehicle. Uniquely it hitches directly on the bed of a 4x4 pick up truck towing vehicle, giving it unrivalled stability.

WHY IS A FIFTH WHEEL TOURER MORE STABLE THAN A REGULAR CARAVAN?

Its unique design places the load strategically above the vehicles back axle, allowing for even weight distribution and thereby eliminating snaking – even when braking hard in emergency situations.

DOES THE COUPLING WORK ON ANY OTHER TYPE OF VEHICLE?

No, it has to be a 4x4 pick up truck to provide the base for the extra stability it offers. A wide range of makes and models are suitable though and the Fifth Wheel Company are happy to offer advice on them.

FIFTH WHEELERS SEEM SO HUGE. SURELY THEY ARE HARDER TO TOW?

Surprisingly even Fifth Wheel’s largest model, the Celtic Rambler is shorter than many 4x4 and double axle caravan towing combos. With the power of the pick up and the uniquely stable fifth wheel hitching mechanism, most customers report finding it far easier to tow than regular tourers.

CAN I DRIVE A FIFTH WHEEL UNIT ON A REGULAR CAR DRIVING LICENCE?

Yes, as long as you passed your UK driving test before 1997. If you passed after 1997 an additional driving test is required in order to gain category B+E.

THE FIFTH WHEEL MODELS LOOK WIDER THAN CONVENTIONAL CARAVANS. DO THEY FIT SMALLER UK ROADS?

Fifth Wheel tourers are no wider when towed than conventional caravans. The electronically operated slide-out design, which vastly increases your living space when stationary, retracts snugly and tightly into the body of the vehicle for towing.
