Coleman has launched a range of luxury driveaway awnings for the campervanner. The collection includes the Journeymaster Deluxe Air driveaway awnings, the first ever awning range to feature BlackOut Bedroom technology, blocking up to 99% of daylight from the sleeping area.

Setting up the Journeymaster Deluxe Air is simple and effortless thanks to the FastPitch™ Air inflatable poles, which provide excellent wind resistance and stability. A 6,000mm hydrostatic head on the flysheet provides excellent weather protection, while ample guylines and four storm straps ensure it is anchored even when the wind picks up.

Connection to the campervan can be achieved by multiple methods, including a standard 6mm beaded strip compatible with most driveaway kits, nylon loops and a pole sleeve allow attachment via a pole and clamp kit and two additional straps enable pegging over the top of the vehicle (driveaway awning pole and clamp kits are not included).

The connector tunnel with side door provides rain protection and privacy when moving from the campervan to the awning, as well as offering a great space to store kit, bikes and muddy boots. Then roll it back when you want to drive off for the day’s adventures. An extended porch provides covered, additional living space and features a drop-down doorway, reducing trip hazards when entering the awning.

Inside, large windows feature zipped covers, ensuring flexible levels of privacy and light. The pre-attached bedrooms are extra-large and will comfortably fit larger airbeds. They also have a polyester floor for a more comfortable feel and BlackOut Bedroom technology blocks daylight, reduces the temperature during the day and increases it at night, ensuring a more restful sleep.

There are three sizes of Journeymaster Deluxe Air BlackOut Drive Away Awnings, sleeping from two to four people.
