Campervan Converters

Mandale Motorhomes

It was only just over a year ago that Mandale branched out from automotive body repairs to start converting motorhomes.

The first model to emerge from the newly-established campervan converter was the aptly named Mandale Compact. Based on the Toyota Hiace, this short van manages to offer a separate washroom compartment, which is extrememly uncommon in a van of this size. You also get a well-equipped kitchen and a decent-size double bed.

Moving up in size terms, the Liberte is based on the brand-new Renault Master. This adopts a rear lounge floorplan, with a kitchen split either side of the aisle and a washroom located just behind the cab.

You could choose to adapt one of these layouts or specify a completely bespoke motorhome. The company can also carry out restorations and have an onsite paint and body repair centre (including glass fibre production and repair).

With more than 25 years of experience in automotive repairs, Mandale hopes to carry across the design and practical skills it has acquired. This means that conversions include features like steel slide out frames to make the rear lounge into a double bed that requires no supporting legs.

Mandale also puts all its vehicles through VOSA’s Individual Vehicle Approval scheme allowing them to be correctly registered as a motorhome.
