At long last, motorhomes fitted with an Al-Ko chassis can benefit from an auxiliary air suspension system.

While the rest of the country suffers from inflation, owners of motorhomes fitted with an Al-Ko chassis can positively benefit from it.

With auxiliary air suspension, you can enjoy the greatly enhanced ride qualities, along with a wide range of other benefits, such as increased stability in cross winds, reduced body roll and the ability to tailor the ride according to your own personal preferences.

Motorhomes with a large rear overhang, you can now be temporarily raised at the rear to avoid contact with the ramps when boarding a ferry.

Yet another added convenience is the ability to level your motorhome at the rear from inside the vehicle, when setting up on your pitch.

The built-in onboard compressor allows you the comfort of pressing a couple of buttons to lift, lower and alter the ground clearance on the rear overhang.

The AS air suspension can also maximise carrying capacity within the maximum permitted weight, by allowing you to compensate for uneven weight distribution - often the case when the layout prohibits an ideal location for a heavy item such as a motorcycle or even when towing a car.

With experience, you can customise the pressure in each air cushion to your exact requirements, but you must remember to stay within the original weight limit.

The auxiliary ‘AS’ air suspension is attached to the existing suspension, so nothing is removed or altered. It can be fitted to both single and double floor campers and is fitted by an ‘AS’ engineer.

The air cushions/springs are guaranteed, under normal use for 5 years and the kit is guaranteed for 2 years. Other chassis include Fiat, Iveco, Citroen, Mercedes, Ford, Peugeot, VW, Opal, Movano, Nissan and Toyota.
