Camping Pors Peron

3b468d97-8aef-479d-9bae-818e2f7c023d
This beautiful site offers 93 level pitches, set in three sections (most with electric hook-ups), surrounded by the French countryside. Each pitch is individually hedged providing privacy for its visitors.

The facilities have been recently refurbished and include a modern toilet and shower block, a laundry room, complete with disabled facilities and a small but handy campsite shop, which is stocked with fresh bread every day. There's also a great deal on site to keep whole families and children entertained including a trampoline, a children's play area, bicycles for hire, volleyball and table-tennis.

The owners of this campsite (who are British) are friendly and welcoming and can offer huge amounts of help and information regarding the local area, as well as the site itself. Travelling to the site couldn't be easier with Roscoff ferry port a mere 75 miles away and St Malo ferry port just 154 miles away.

Situated in the beautiful Cap Sizun peninsula, Camping Pors Peron is an ideal base to explore various scenic attractions in the surrounding areas such as the infamous Pointe de Raz, known as 'The end of the Earth' where you can enjoy outstanding views to the small island, Ile de Sein. To the east is the town of Douarnenez, where there are various shops and eateries to explore.

The beach is also just a short walk away (200 metres) from the site itself, via a footpath, where there are numerous coves. Nearby Bay de Trespasses, with its rolling waves, is also a fantastic cove ideal for amateur and professional surfers alike, as well as bodyboarders.
