Pathfinder’s new flagship unveiled at Ideal Home Show

68372add-5deb-45f0-9579-23a2659ad74f

Unveiled at the annual Ideal Home Show at London’s Olympia was Pathfinder’s brand-new flagship, the Summit.

This 50ftx22 luxury leisure lodge is a joint venture between Pathfinder and Dream Lodge Group.

The thinking behind the Summit, which has been nominated for the 2015 Lodge of the Year award, is ‘authentic Alpine landscapes and the spirit of Tibet and the Himalayas’.

So spread across the open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area, the three bedrooms (all with tv) and the two bathrooms are various items with a Himalayan/Tibetan flavour. Those include faceplates, pictures, scatter cushions, objet d’art, rugs, all sorts.

The influences on styling and presentation of this leisure lodge may be traditional Himalayan. But the fixtures and fittings are unquestionably 21st century, hi-tec, chalet chic.

Focal point of the lounge, which has glass bi-fold doors, is a large, curved-screen television. The dining area features a bespoke table and matching chairs. Standard equipment in the kitchen includes a ceramic hob, microwave oven, dishwasher, wine cooler, fridge-freezer and washing machine, all integrated.

The bathrooms boast steam showers, a Jacuzzi bath, stone-lined walls and underfloor heating. Two out of the three bedrooms come with king-size beds; the en-suite master featuring a retractable tv installed at the foot of the bed.

Mustn’t forget, either, the remote-controlled surround-sound system which pipes stereophonic music to every room.
All that for £349,000 sited. (This luxury leisure lodge is also available on parks other than DLG’s. It comes in different sizes too: from 45ftx20 up to 65ftx22.)
